Golden, Texas
Registration: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (No pre-registration necessary)
Show will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Entry Fees:
$10.00 per head: Heifers, Bulls, Steers, Lambs, Goats, Hogs.
$ 5.00 per head for Rabbits
Grand and Reserve Champion Awards--Champion of Champions Heifer
General Rules
1. This show is open to any member, in good standing, of a 4H Club or FFA Chapter.
2. There will be a milk bucket class for those too young for 4H or FFA.
3. Hawkins FFA Alumni reserves all concession rights.
4. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the show grounds.
5. All decisions of the judge will be final.
6. No dogs or horses allowed on show grounds.
7. Improved washing facilities and electricity are available. Generatorswelcome.
8. Market Animals need to be weighed in by 9:30 a.m. Classes broken by weight.
9. Breeding Rabbits will be shown in standard classes. All meat pens show together.
10.Dairy Heifers, Beef Heifers and Beef Bulls will be broken into eight age classes. (Class 1- under 7 mo., Class 2- 7-9 mo., Class 3- 10-12 mo., Class 4-13-15 mo., Class 5- 16-18 mo., Class 6- 19-21 mo., Class 7- 22-24 mo., Class 8- over 24 mo.)
11.Two heifers of same breed required to constitute a breed. All bulls will be shown as American, English or Exotic.
12.Ribbons will be awarded to all entries.
13.There will be a Champion of Champions Heifer selected.
14.Plagues will be awarded to Showmanship champions.
15.The Hawkins FFA Alumni, Hawkins FFA, Hawkins ISD, and the show judges will assume no responsibility or be held liable for any damage, fire, theft, injury, or loss which might occur to any person or person’s property or livestock.
